sending money on paypal-credit card

Hi there,

I need to send money to people on paypal. If I do this using a credit card is it classed as a cash advance or a purchase?

    Purchase. But someone will pay a 3.4% + 20p fee.

    If by "people" you mean yourself, then also be prepared to be banned from paypal.
  • I basically need to send money to people who had made purchases from me, which can no longer be fulfilled. It is past the 60 day refund, so i will need to send the money using the 'send money' option. So will this count as purchase or cash advance?
