I have a prepayment meter for both installed and suddenly thought about the above as I had not seen it credited to the electric meter as it had been in previous years. Last time they paid it out to me was 2009. So I am owed it for 2010/11/12 and this year. It was meant to be sent with the annual statement for the electric by a bar coded letter. It was not. So they owe me £45 back payments which with this years is £60. So if you have not had any bar coded letters from them and are duel fuel it might be worth ringing the BG prepayment meter department and giving them your electric account reference to check. The chap I spoke to has sent my case to special investigations to find out why my account seems to have been missed! Just thought I would post on here in case anyone else has not had same. THIS IS PURELY FOR prepayment meter accounts and nothing else BTW.

I got a email from them yesterday about this and they said they will add £11 to my meter within 28 days and have to top up a few times for it to go on to key.

have to say £11 is not much but nice to get.
