Currently amazed at how short sited this company is showing themselves to be.
Purchased a Iron which failed within the 2 year guarantee period. Good on them for offering a straight forward extended warranty.
Iron failed and was replaced. The problem is the Iron has failed within 6 months!
As the original purchase is just outside of 2 years the company are not interested in remedying the problem despite the replacement just lasting a shocking 6 months!
Fantastic conversation with consumer care who told me products can fail 2 months, 6 months, 12 months after purchase due to them being electrical :rotfl:
I did suggest maybe quality control should be a consideration. Has left me at least in the knowledge that Morphy Richards have QC problems with this product. Only option is to write to company to complain but am well aware they have followed carefully SOGA by originally replacing the product rather than a refund which I would have used to purchase a new Iron and been covered by a 12 month guarantee :T
