New washer not working-Help!

Options
Hi
Hoping you good people can help on this one. I brought a new washer dryer (Hotpoint WDL520) in early October & paid extra for it to be instaled and tested. (I wasn't in for the instal-left son in charge) The first wash it did water came back up the sink, seemed to settle down, with only a bit of water coming back up now and again. It has done several washes fine, but now its stuck half full of water.
The "pump out" function doesn't empty it and after a bit of a google I found how to emply the trap under the front facia. I did this and drained out the water, nothing stuck in the filler.
Retried it on an empty wash & again its stuck full of water. I have disconnected all the u-bend and cleaned it, just in case, but it still won't pump out, spin etc.
I called the shop (Mr T) as according to what it says in the manual it is an instalation issue.
They say its nothing to do with them & will get Indset to call me.
1. I thought my contract was with the shop, not the manufacurer
2. If I paid for instalation & this is the problem will I be charged call out fee?
3. Any other advice on my rights!
Thank you for reading and any advice

    1. Yes the responsibility lies with the shop but they have the right to check to see if there is a fault. There is obviously no one in Tesco who can assess a fault of this type so they will arrange for Indesit, as their agent, to look at it.
    2. If it has been incorrectly installed then there may be a fee but you should not be responsible for this and speaking to Tesco cs should sort it.
Water coming up in the sink is unlikely to be a fault of the washing machine, if you fill the sink full of water does it drain quickly ? My daughter had a similar problem with water coming up into the bath when the machine emptied but the bath emptied fine, it was caused by a partial drain blockage much further down the line and took 2 (council :o) plumber visits to actually fix it.
