Eon Fixed 1 year

I had a conversation with Eon customer services yesterday. I am currently paying about £120 per month for both my gas (Eon) and electricity (Southern Electric).

The man who I spoke to said that he could offer me £90 per month dual fuel. I then asked what the unit cost would be and standing charge per day and he just kept reiterating that the cost woudl be £90 per month no matter how much I used.

Can this be correct?

Any help would be appriciated.

Comments

  • It can't be correct. The more you use the more you pay for.

Even customer service agents are targeted on sales unfortunately, and are desperate for the sale. Offering a lower DD is the oldest trick in the book.

If £120 a month is reflective of your usage, no company in the world will be able to offer you the same consumption for 75% of the cost.

In any case, when you're ready to switch, switch via a cashback site, and earn the commission for yourself.
