    Has it ever worked?

Try taking out all components and just leave the Processor & Motherboard, do you get any beeps then?

Then add the Graphics Card, to see if you get a display.

    Then the memory.

BTW not been overclocking it have you? I did a few years back with an AMD and burnt the processor chip out, new processor sorted it out back then.
    Cheers

It does look like the motherboard's damaged as you suspect. Pretty much repeating what most of the others have said.....

Initially do what sjc suggests - power up CPU & motherboard only (motherboard may have to be connected to case speaker to hear the beeps?). No beeps could mean either of the 3 not working.

Next, when adding the graphics card, make sure its sitting properly, getting its own power (if required) & connectors from card to monitor are secure (similar problem here, but this person seems to have somehow damaged his original graphics card! Or, he wasn't fitting it properly?).

Finally, try another PSU as has been suggested already. If still no go, it's most probably the motherboard as CPUs rarely fail (hopefully not in this instance anyway smiley_pray.gif, & you haven't blown it by overclocking).

There are several motherboards out there that'll be compatible with your components. Get one that will: 1. fit in the case - may have to be microATX? 2. be inexpensive - your eBay idea is a good one. Good luck :), G

P.S. If you come across a suitable motherboard & would like to confirm compatibilty before purchasing, let us know the make & model & we can tell you if it's OK or not
