Sending a music track from PC to a mobile phone

Is there any way to send a music track from PC to a mobile phone i.e to use as a ring tone i don't have any cables is it possable to do it over the net.

is your mobile bluetooth capable? it may be difficult to use something without cables/bluetooth etc i'm unaware of anything on the net but someone else may be along soon with suggestions

Depends on the phone you have. I've only used Sony Ericssons for this and they all come with a USB data cable and a program called "Disc2Phone" which copys from PC to mobile... it also coverts wma/ogg files to mp3 and to a set bitrate.

Alternative is bluetooth - which I find slower but it does the job.

If you use a Sony Ericsson you may want this http://www.fjsoft.at/en/ I love this software for sending texts backing up the phone book and allsorts as the Sony software lacks those options.

I've got a SE too, but got completely fed up with the provided software, so I just bought myself a nice big memory card, I shove that in the card reader on the PC and away we go...

But how does having a big memory card have anything to do with their software? it still means you cant compose a text message no matter how big the card is, you want the software I posted above.
