    Intel® Core™ i3-3220 Processor (3.30 GHz, 3MB Cache, with Hyper-Threading Technology.

Why do you say it isn't dual channel? It says it is (not that I know what it is or why it's important buy hey).

My honest opinion of this system! over priced and under powered GTX 645 OEM will not cut the min spec in upcoming releases! such as black ops ghosts and battlefield 4 although is ok if you want to sit on minecraft allday and have just over 100FPS on medium settings.

expansion on that case is nect to impossible with it width it is so slim that anything bigger than gtx 645 would not fit in it. 2 memory slots, if you wanted to expand from 6GB to 8 GB youd have to buy a pretty expensive piece of DDR 2x4GB memory kits. you couldn't put a bigger CPU cooler in it you will be limited to stock intel fan.

as a gamer and self system builder, I can see problems that outweigh the benefits.

Thanks for your honesty. Guess I've been taken in by dell. Work have always bought dells so thought they would be a good bet. Not buying it solely for games as I have got a ps3 and wii u as well and was planning on getting the ps4 at some point as well so current generation gaming, Internet and accounts, wp that sort of thing was the main aim so it will probably handle that okay. Not very good at the building pc thing so wanted a ready made system.
  • Operating System and Processor is poor...
Shame because Alianware done properly is fantastic

I suppose the operating system is a matter of opinion really as some people like Windows 8, some don't. The processor is only i3 so maybe that is a bit low spec.

£702.19 inc VAT and delivery. I'm starting to get a bit annoyed really as Dell have been sitting on this order since a week last Saturday, apparently waiting for a componant to come in. If that was the case then they should have at least let know and given me a chance to cancel the order if it was too long to wait.

The X51 is a great design as it's a compact case for the parts it can pack but while I like the idea of one, the price is very high for the performance you get so wouldn't be my choice for a gaming PC.

Not too bad if £700 include monitor as I haven't seen other retailer doing gaming PC with SFF case.
Here are alternative with m-itx cube case, which the PC itself would cost ~£550 with slightly better spec
