The Naughty but Nice November NSD Challenge

  • Just 1 NSD to report for yesterday, taking me up to 7.

Technically, I did spend yesterday, but I paid with a gift card, so it didn't actually cost me anything! (I got a DVD from Amazon that I've been wanting for a while) When I do surveys, I often get paid in vouchers for Amazon, which I just apply to my account, then use to buy little treats for myself from time to time.

Had a spend this morning however. I've been feeling a bit down in the dumps, what with everything going on post-accident, and being stuck in the house. Considering getting the bus to the shops tomorrow, but it's quite expensive unfortunately!
So, anyway, took myself off on a little walk to the local shop and got a Sunday paper and a Wispa. :) Unfortunately, I live in one of these new estates, where there aren't many public amenities, and the one local shop is right the far side of the estate from me. So a good 20 minute walk. Which is hardly local IMO! :o It was nice in the sunshine though. Not a cloud in the sky.

((HUGS)) to all who need them today!
Because it's fun to have money!

  • Not a NSD here as we need bread for packed lunches and won't be tomorrow as it's grocery and petrol day so I don't count that as NSD (I'm only counting debt and DD bills as exempt) but still feeling very proud of my 6/15 already achieved and by the 10th November :D

God knows where I'd be without these challenges to keep me motivated and make me feel like I've achieved something every day so thank you all x

    I did it! :j:j NSD 5 yesterday!!!

Managed to get a signal and today I'm not leaving the village. There's only one shop and I won't be going in. My purse is actually in the bedroom and I have no reason to go and get it.

As such I'm going to put in an early declaration of NSD 6 and 5 in a row :j:j:j

I know it's not much but I'm very proud of myself :)

    Have a great weekend everyone

Failed today/yesterday :( Been away with friends and spent into my savings account. Some of that is okay because I bought some Christmas presents and that was what they were for. Also bought new boots (needed but not budgeted) for me and some books (not needed nor budgeted). Feel bad for spending Christmas money on me but relieved that I can make it up easily next month. Is a lesson in not budgeting QUITE so tightly next month I think, am not going to feel bad for £20 on entertainment in a month and £30 on necessary shoes. Tomorrow will be SFD though as just grocery shopping.

Umm Stranded, Freeby might not be around at the moment but I'm fairly sure the F word is still banned on this thread
We never fail, sometimes we find room for improvement, challenging times or the opportunity to change things...but we never ever F--L:)

Ooh I just see Spooney has already updated you on the use of the F word.

Welcome back Spoony, :wave:missed you - hope it's all going Ok now.

Thank you xxx it's so fantastic to have such support.

It's not been a good week but I'm still alive and kicking and not increasing the debts. This feels like such an achievement, it's so good to feel like I'm doing something positive each day and even if I do spend it's controlled and mostly necessary :)

    AAAARRRRGGGHHH!!!! F word alert!

Right, gang, this heinous crime cannot go unpunished. Suggestions, please, for an appropriate punishment fro uttering the F word on this thread.

Something involving raspberry jam and feathers, maybe? Or a tin of creosote?

A warning to all new peeps - we do not "fail" on here. Every NSD is worth celebrating, even if you don't quite achieve your target.
