I would go with Levon and the Hawks as that is the name they would actually tour under and 1 single Go Go Liza Jane is on some sites given as The Bands record yet others attribute it to Levon and the Hawks, from what I can tell The Canadian Squires songs were released a few months before a couple of Levon and The Hawks songs.

They were definitely better known as The Hawks, but their records were credited to Levon and the Hawks. I guess one could write "(Levon and the) Hawks".0
