I Found a £50 Note!

Hold it up to the light and the Queens face should show, she shouldnt be winking or smiling ! Also you can tear a little bit of the silver strip at the top of the note to make sure it runs through the note itself and rub the red onto some white paper.
THEN BANK IT

I found a £10 note whilst on holiday last week! I very skillfully placed my foot over and bent down to 'scratch my ankle' and made my claim! Only my Dad moaned at me for keeping it, until we pointed out that had we handed it to the bar staff they too would have kept hold of it! So it bought us lunch the next day!
As others have said, the red ink never dries and so it should rub off and prove that it's real! Let us know how you get on!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

Okay. I rubbed it on some white paper and the ink does come off...
But the hallogram/silver stamp thing, next to the queens neck, is a very faint print

I think you can only get done for fraud if you make fake money, not for spending it (because maybe you didn't know).
I would spend it on some really lovely treat, something you've been missing since you started DFW. Finders keepers. Definitely. Whoever lost it must have had way too much money to be careless with £50.
If you know you have enough, you're rich.

Southern Scouser has posted a pretty good description of a £50 note that he lost - so it could well be his.
I understand that he might even be offering a small reward for its safe return.:rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
