I made an order with GAME last week
i paid for the order via paypal, part of the order was paid for straight away, the rest is in progress due to it being a pre order.
i get all the confirmation emails from GAME.
Next day i get emails from game saying they have cancelled my order.
I am told by a person on live chat that paypal refused the funds and no funds have been taken by GAME and iff i wish to order via card i probably wouldnt have an issue.
I contact paypal as i can see that for the instock items it says payment completed, they tell me that the funds had been released and taken by GAME.
I go back to GAME webchat to be told the same thing only this time i give them the paypal transaction id and i get told they have forwarded the information on and i should have my refund within 24 hours.
This was on friday morning and im still £47 down with no sign of my refund, every time im on the live chat i just get told that the web department hasnt been in touch.
what else can i do, they just fob me off:(
i have opened a pp dispute but i have to wait to escalate it and i just want my money back

Have you actually spoken to anyone yet?
My suggestion would be to pick up the phone and speak to someone at Game.
If they refer you back to Paypal, then ring Paypal.
Generally, refunds take time.0 -
on a live chat i asked for a contact phone number, was told they dont have one anymore and its just live chat.
i googled and found one and was told id get a callback today, i did, it was from the first girl off the webchat who said exactly the same thing as she did the first time i had contacted them.
