    What happens when you put winter tyres on and you have a puncture? Do you throw on the bicycle wheel spacesaver or do you really lug around a fifth winter special?

    I put on a summer tyre and go and get it repaired / replace and swapped back.

    That said, I don't carry a spare on the car at all as I have an LPG tank where it used to live.
