Switching bank accounts

Hi, I have a Lloyds premier account, I've reduced my debts gradually and would like to switch to the First Direct account to take advantage of the overdraft and £100 offer.

I don't mind closing the Lloyds account completely, but I have a Lloyds duo credit card account, a Lloyds personal loan with 6 more payments to make and an ISA too. (Although I could easily get a better ISA...) Would they be affected in doing so?
If not I will take up the seven day switch process to make it easier.

Thanks.

No, except possibly for the credit card account.

If the credit card is a Premier one and so linked to the current account, then I guess if you close the current account you would be no longer eligible for the attached credit card.

But Lloyds after a Duo Avios credit card for non-premier customers too; perhaps that;s what you already have or Lloyds will give you pone of these instead?

Or better still, refer to the MSE guides to best-buy credit cards.

Is there anything else you get from the Premier current account as it's presumably costing you £300 a year
That's £300 a year you could otherwise be putting towards paying off your debts. Just speak to LLoyds and ask to downgrade to their FREE personal banking service :money:
