MONEY in a BALLOON PRESENT

Has anyone ever done this a present please.
I want to do this for my son. He is not a lover of christmas, very hard to buy for so thought money in a balloon, in a box. He will love that!!!
I wondered if the box that contains the gas and balloons will do the trick or whether I have to go to these fancy card shops that do the teddy in the balloon and ask them if they would blow one of their balloons up whilst I stuff it with the money.
Any help would be great.
Thanks:santa2::santa2::santa2::santa2::santa2:

when i was a kid in the 70's, people quite often put a pound note inside a balloon, blew it up and wrapped it. It was great fun having to sit on it til it popped to get our loot.0

That sounds like great fun, I think that I will do that for the little ones in my life!
Thanks for the idea!:jProud to have dealt with my debt, DFD 6th May 2015 :j

Not heard of this before, but I think it's a great idea.
I reckon the kits to fill the balloons at home would be fine, in fact better as having to get them done a day or so before at a shop would give the balloons time to deflate. Add some glitter in too to jazz it up.0 -
That's what I thought buy the home kit. I think they do about 30ish medium sized balloons but I want a couple of good big ones. So I was thinking of buying a couple of biggish balloons separately and use the gas from the kit. My son is funny when it comes to christmas so what I have spent on my daughter was going to give him most in £5 notes with a few £100,000 and £50,000 notes mixed in from Hawkins Bazaar for fun. Then put it in a big box(with no weight) so when he opens it, it will float up to our large ceilings (more fun as you have to get a 3 tier ladder to just change a light bulb in our house) with a couple of presents to unwrap, aftershave etc. Going to make his christmas F-U-N and happy at our expense. What do you think LOL0

This is a lovely idea. However, be careful replacing the balloons that come with the kit with other store bought balloons. The balloons that are in the kit are a special thickness so that they do not pop when filled with helium. Store bought balloons are too thin, and will pop too easily, thus wasting the helium and your money.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...
..one size fits all... and nobody minds if you give it back.☆.。.:*・° Housework is so much easier without the clutter ☆.。.:*・°SPC No. 5180 -
Also bear in mine that latex balloons only stay inflated for about 12 hours - possibly a bit longer so you will need to make sure you don't do them too far in advance.0

Mmmmmm this isn't as easy as I thought it would be now. I'm going have to do a dummy run in the next few days (when son is out) and purchase some big balloons and gas. WILL REPORT BACK IN with results on this.0

This is an awesome idea! Definately going to try it out - we always give the nieces twenty quid and for years I've wanted a better way of giving it to them...xx0
