smoking electric lawnmower

I've juts been cutting my lawns which were admittedly quite long, and my Black and Decker electric lawnmower has cut out and started smoking.Any ideas what might be wrong?I'm just gonna look and see when i bought it as I might still have receipts:mad: :mad:

The smoking is due to the motor being overworked, try cutting the long grass on a higher height setting first then lower it after you have cut it a bit shorter. You may find that the motor has burnt out though, when you use it next check if there are any signs of smoke or if it lacks cutting power. If it does then either claim on the warranty or its one for the bin i'm affraid.
