Transferring Next balance to CC?

Hi all,

I recently got a Barclays 0% credit card to pay off my Next account with; the limit for Barclays was higher than Next, "Great!" I thought.

Only - when I tried to transfer the debt online a pop-up informed me this could to be done - I'm not sure whether it's because Barclays provide finance for Next?

Now I'm sitting here with a credit card I can't use, and a Next balance I can't pay off! Does anyone know any ways around it?

Log into your next account and pay off the balance using the card? Is it 0% on purchases? Some cards do not allow the transfering of catalogue debts x

Was it a 0% on purchases? If not doing it this way may incur charges and may not be at 0%

Is that the only cc you have?
If you have different one, pay the Next account off with that one (there is no charge for that, I pay my Next statement off with CC every month, ultimately getting 2 months interest free and collect point on my CC too) and then transfer the balance from that card to your Barclaycard...

Unfortunately it's 6m 0% so in theory I could buy it on purchases, but realistically it'd take me a lot longer than 6 months to pay off I don't have another credit card either...

0% on BTs only or purchases as well?
If the latter you can just use it to pay the Next card off.
Otherwise you cannot do this without a second CC, although you can call Barclaycard and ask them if they can do a 'money transfer' to your current account at the same 0% as for BTs.
