Hi
I've been looking for a washer dryer and have found it on emire direct cheap (if I can use the 10% off code on the discount board) with 3 year gaurantee - only I've never heard of them and when I rang they said the gaurantee is with them and not Bosch, so what happens if they disappear - will my gaurantee be invaild?
Any help truely appreciated,

I've used them before. They often give very good discount codes etc - I once got a pair of Levi 501's for around £11.
Quick delivery - very good in my experience.0 -
Bought my nice new LCD HD TV from them a couple of weeks ago, and got the 3 year warranty via their ED card.
The good thing about them is that their in-store prices are the same as those on the website.
I used the Derby store, on the Wyvern, near wher those Rams play, very friendly staff, helpful and not at all pushy.
Head office is up North and not down in that London so thats another plus point in my book.
PS I've also used Hughes Direct for washing machines in the past, also a good supplier.
Try the Which? version of their website its a tad cheaper:http://www.which.hughesdirect.co.uk/home.php?SID=17e97c30603ebd29c6bd4a4389f80244That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Empire direct are a very reliable retailer and I would most certainly recommend them.
I cannot comment on their delivery as I only live 3-4 miles away from their affiliate store in Bolton where I am able to purchase at the same price as online.
I'm sure they will be around for many many years to come. :j0 -
Had no problems from them couple of years back and MIL didnt last year on a item. I just ordered a item today from them, don't forget to go through cashback site and also there's a 10% code for them in voucher forum, think it runs out tomorrow0

I ordered a laptop case from their clearance section Sunday morning for £11.34 ( including discount voucher) delivered - lowest price elsewhere £27 + delivery.
Plus i went through quidco - so price will be even less.
They gave me a call in the afternoon to confirm the product had been allocated to me and will be delivered on Tuesday.
Thus very impressed with their service so far.0 -
You're fine using Empire Direct so long as there are no problems with the product. Recently purchased 37" TV that was faulty - absolute nightmare! Their customer service is appalling - had to fight to get it returned (after only 2 days!) and to get our money back - will never use them again. In the end purchased better spec TV for less money via https://www.Laskys - great service!
So just be warned!0 -

Had similar issues with them on a TV we bought a while back. Clearly didn't learn my lesson and used them again recently - still haven't received my order after 5 weeks of waiting (website says delivery with 7-10 days)0 -
My folks bought a £1100 Sharp 42" TV from them last Xmas (now £850'ish of course as 6 months gone!) and it arrived with a common fault for that model - light bands down the edges of the screen, though I only identified the problem for them when I called on them 28 days after delivery. Emailed them that day. Folks phoned them a few days later as no email reply and they said call Sharp service. When highlighted to them the fault had been reported within 28 days (from their T&C's), they got "engineer" to call to confirm the actual fault details and then promptly and gracefully exchanged for a new one - which was faultless.
So overall quite happy to use them again but be clear about their T&C's and your legal rights - as you should be with any retailer.0
