should seller pay for enlarging loft hatch for roof survey?
Had you got a recommendation that required floorboards lifting and walls drilling into I'd expect the buyer to pay for it and put it right if I was the seller.
I doubt very much the small hatch was installed with the intention to deceive, sounds like a right conspiracy theory to me!
