I think I'd stick to a UK based company for that sort of purchase in case anything goes wrong with it. In addition if they don't prepay VAT and customs duties you stand a change of getting stung for them which will most likely more than wipe out any savings.0

Yeah, only buy from the UK as they could just send you a purposely faulty product and you would have to go through a load of hassle to return it and get a refund0

Never heard of them. No comment.
What spec and how much you are talking about? There might be similar product provide by UK based firm0 -

Thanks for all your replies. Lightinthebox is best avoided then
Similar tablets are on ebay from (on the face of it) UK sellers at the moment at around the £170 mark - 9.7 inch screen with almot iPad retina display resolutions (give or take a few pixels), quad core Cortex A7 tablets and 2GB of RAM. Reviews seem solid enough but need two so need to be sure before splashing out.
We already have two 7 inch MID Androids from last Christmas which still work very well but the kids want bigger screens. Budget is definitely sub-£200 each.
Has anyone here got one of the Chinese tablets and what do you think are the main differences between the guts of these and, say, a Galaxy Tab 2?In deep...0 -
