Car insurance & buildings & contents

It's time for me to renew the above. Currently I am paying £101+ with HSBC for buildings & contents and £233+ for comprehensive car insurance with Barclays. Car is a Fiesta finesse 2003. I do not think I can get any cheaper than that. I know the premiums will be increased this year as they are competitive for new customers. I am wondering whether there are some companies who are offering more competitive prices!! Thanks

Look at quidco. Although your house and contents is very cheap. My car insurance renewal for Budget (the cheapest last year) was £240 but I bought from Prudential for £193 with £100 cash back so has only cost £93 for the year.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:
