  • press the home button the square one at the bottom of the ipad. press it twice and it shows what is running , and if you are running ios7 then it will show images of what is running in the main part of the screen , swipe that image up and it is closed. Why not go to the app store and get the ipad manual for ios 7.

I think this is a new thing in ios7. When you have closed down all of your open pages it defaults to this which is a display of you 'favourites' - those websites you mention have been pre loaded but you can get rid of them by pressing the book-shaped icon and then going into the 'favourites' section and deleting them.
  • As Downhillfast says, not only can you get rid of those pre-loaded sites, you can add your own favourites, included your homepage. When on a favourite site, go to Bookmarks and then 'add' into the Favourites folder. It will then be displayed on the page you have described.
