Tenant late with rent

kme91 sorry there are some who seem to delight in winding others up, ignore them.
some never think you may not be in this to make money but it may be to cover a mortgage in a negative equity property.
We had a problem this year with a tenant who lost his job and the agent continually phoned and called to the house because he would not initially respond. After we served the section 21 he got in touch with the agent and did eventually pay all the rent he owed, some on a weekly basis.
hopefully you can trust your agent to guide you through this and verything will be ok, dont panic easy to say this but not easy to do in these circumstances.
We would never have a further contract after the initail 6 months because then it would be easier to get them out if need be. good luck. Wisdom doesn't necessarily come with age.
Sometimes age just shows up all by itself
In the end, it's not the years in your life
that count....it's the life in your years

Nope, bad idea: If the lender find out you are renting they will either repossess (oh yes it has happened) or increase the interest rate and/or charge extra fees...
If in negative equity (sorry..) seriously consider bankruptcy & start again...0
