in Credit cards
I have just set up an account with Very.co.uk.
I have been given a credit limit of £1000
I need to buy some new clothes for a new job i have just been offered. Will i have to pay interest on that if i use Buy Now Pay Later, if i pay back within the period of the 12 months?
I will definitely be able to pay it back within the period, i just don't want to pay interest before then.
Thanks

Hi CJ259,
As long as you pay it off before the BNPL period is up you don't pay any interest at all as I did that last year with my laptop.
Hope that helps,

Hi mucktub86, it is little offtopic, but i need a new laptop. Can you recommend me good sites that offer BNPL scheme? As far as I understand, if I pay before BNPL i will not be entitled with any interest fee, correct? Thank you0 -
Just make sure you do pay it back before the 12 months is up, and if you purchase other items not on BNPL any payments will go towards those first unless you pay online and specify the payments for the BNPL items!:hello:0

Hi xkpa,
I used very when I bought my laptop as it had the one I wanted on sale. Shop around is my only advice but remember if you apply for credit accounts it will show on your credit report and can then have a negative effect. I'd suggest picking your laptop first and then comparing the prices before picking somewhere to order it from. I paid mine off before the BNPL time was up and paid no interest on it.
A heads up for you & the OP even if you BNPL your item you still have to pay for the postage in the first month.

Hi. What about Dell BNPL - http://www.dell.com/learn/uk/en/ukdhs1/campaigns/finance-promo-uk-dhs?&dgc=IR&cid=Q3W7_Finance_promo_BNPL&lid=DPA_homepage:_R_3_C_1_T_0
Is it the same as very, so if i settle the loan within the 6 months i will not pay any interest, just the loan + Document Fee and Settlement Fee? Thanks

You'll pay no interest, if you can settle within 6 months, but you'll pay £54 worth of fees.
Could you not get a 0% credit card, and then put the laptop purchase on their - or even a low rate credit card, as it's likely to be cheaper.
That's what I did - I bought mine from Ebuyer on a 0% card and paid it back within 3 months.Thank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!0
