I've done a few different raffles recently for fundrasing events and I use a site called 'theFreeWealth' (can't post links as new....but google that and it will come up as number 1). It's got a letter that I copied as an example of what to send and a list of about 100 raffle prize ideas. It was really useful.
My last raffle collection I got 32 prizes which was too many so had to put on a second event lol!
Good luck and hope that helps!0 -
Hi,
I too am organising a charity fundraising event for Macmillan next month. I've spent a long time this morning contacting various companies regarding donations for the Raffle/Tombola etc & most of the larger companies have said no. I've then scaled it down to contacting local companies, Zoos, Bowling, Cinema, Leisure Centre etc. Still loads more to go.....
It would be good if people can think of how to raise prizes for our charity fundraising events.
