Hi All,
I'm looking to get a 17 inch laptop but it's been ages since I bought one so have no idea what the current market looks like.
The main things I'll be using it for are watching hi-res / blu-ray movies (hence the bigger screen) when on the road, general internet browsing and probably some gaming (more Championship Manager than anything too graphically intensive).
Budget is £600-800 but can go to £1,000 if there's a bargain to be had.
Thanks in advance for any help

im not sure you would need to spend that much for such a laptop.
i spent just over £400 for mine, which is a 17" dell, and i play Football Manager on it quite often and it runs fine on that.
i did get numerous deals on it thou, so it would have cost about £600 normally, but i used voucher codes and cashback sites to reduce it.
You could also check the dell outlet0
