  • Try to look for more natural products in the drugstore. If it has lots of chemicals, it's not good for your skin. It doesn't need to be brand name. Burt's Bees is a great product and 100% natural.

I have dry sensitive skin and I also used No7 for many years but decided it had got too expensive. I changed to E45 cream and lotion, I find it just as good and it's really cheap.

i have very dry skin and the only thing that keeps my skin soft all day is Aveeno. I use the one wiht added Shea butter (blue strip) as the original one isnt moisturising enough(green strip)

I use Nivea's Pure & Natural Day Cream for dry/sensitive and it's lovely, not too expensive to start with and Boots/SMs often have it 1/3 off.

I've weaned myself off of expensive products and have really sensitive skin prone to spots although it's dry.....I've found using the cleanser and day cream from this range means my skin is the best it's been in years (ie before I had children and my hormones went haywire!!!)
  • Many moisturisers have paraffin as well as many other chemicals in them and only cause trouble for the skin. I stopped using them and now only use coconut oil because it is more like natural skin oils and has a number of beneficial properties. The best thing is you can eat and cook with it as well.

I have eczema prone skin and use tubs of acqueous cream. Recently tried it on my face and neck and also my eye lids. Brilliant results and really cheap.

You can also use it as a soap. When i have a flare up, i rub plenty all over and have a soak.

I dont think i will go back to branded creams any time soon.

    Any suggestions?
I bought some Nivea after shave balm and it's very good as well as being economical. My wife says that she finds Nivea creams excellent too.

I use Garnier Soft Essential (Fresh Essential is also very good for normal skin).
It's normally expensive but I stock up when is on offer so it can very cheap (although right now I was not able to find it except on Amazon, hope it's not been discontinued...).
