Good Moisturiser for dry skin?

I have used a NO7 moisturiser for a long time, but its £££.

I have very dry skin and need something that will keep it hydrated all day. Where I work is so dry.

Any suggestions?

The air con in my current job is very drying, my old moisturiser doesn't cut it anymore on it's own.

I've started using Lacura Multi Intensive Serum from Aldi, it's only £3.99 and it's been great, even with my sensitive skin. Sometimes it's enough on it's own and not at all greasy but it works well with a moisturiser on top too.

I can't recommend it enough, I don't have to use anywhere near as much moisturiser as I used to.
  • Nivea has good reviews. Basic ingrediants.
  • Boots essentials in the blue and white packaging, they do a cream and a lotion, fanatstic very good value products.

I find Nivea too greasy, it's always just sat as a layer on top of my skin instead of being absorbed. And it's very heavily perfumed and quite overpowering.
  • I use diprobase which is available on prescription although I'm sure you could get it directly from the pharmacy? Excellent absorption rate for psoriasis and excema

I've just changed to Nivea serum. The Boots has become too expensive.

I have eczema so am at the extreme end of the dry spectrum, but I use E45 for everyday use and the vitamin E range from The Body Shop when I need something that'll sit on top of my skin a little bit.

I've also found that Sanex shower gel makes a difference on me too. I've tried hundreds but still on the hunt for the 100% perfect moisturiser. :D

I have extremely dry eczema-prone skin & L'Oreal Youth Code (the original one, not the horrible illuminating one) works really well for me. In very cold weather I sometimes use the night cream during the day. It's £15, but you can always get it for £10 somewhere.
  • Try Simple Kind to Skin replenishing moisturiser. It's available in lots of places, including Boots, at about £3.90 for 125ml. Sometimes Wilko do it at a good price, but only sometimes.

I use a little every day on my face. My skin is very dry.

    Hi,
I use Dove body butter in vanilla and coco. I have dry patches on my arms and really struggle to find a good moisturiser that actually works on these areas. I have found this to be fantastic! I only came about it when shopping in boots and it was priced at £3.99 for a tub.
The smell is subtle but gorgeous and my arms are so smooth. Well worth a try. :)
