Santander Additional Cardholder

Hi all,

quick question. im thinking about getting a 123 santander credit card (I have their current account) and have been guaranteed pre-approved since the credit card first came out. Though Im 99% sure i will still have to go through a credit check to get it despite the guarantee.

anyways the main question is I can see they state you can ask for additional cards (NOT joint account though) so that family can use the same account.

My curiosity is will then then become financial linked to me (eg: if I get an additional card for my girlfriend to use). As I currently dont want any financial links on my credit report

PS: I can see a similar post in 2010 but wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this

No, simply adding somebody as an additional cardholder doesn't create a financial association.
