leylandii hedge

How much do you think is reasonable to get someone to cut a leylandii hedge? It's about 8m long by about 3.5m high.

Cheers

  • It doesn't need totally chopped down, just clipped.

  • I'm a landscape gardener, and normally charge £12 per hour, but it depends on the job. For big leylandii hedges that would take a days work and involve climbing ladders i would normally charge about £120, including removal of all the watse and a tidy up afterwards.
    Hope that helps.

We have just had 14 of them removed from our garden and that cost £300.
