How much do you think is reasonable to get someone to cut a leylandii hedge? It's about 8m long by about 3.5m high.

It doesn't need totally chopped down, just clipped.

I'm a landscape gardener, and normally charge £12 per hour, but it depends on the job. For big leylandii hedges that would take a days work and involve climbing ladders i would normally charge about £120, including removal of all the watse and a tidy up afterwards.

We have just had 14 of them removed from our garden and that cost £300.That's Numberwang!0
