can i freeze my mums bank account help

My sisters name is on my mums bank account.Is there anyway that I can freeze the account.
She is being taken to court for hitting my mum and has all my mums banking, will,etc...I am not sure who mum banks with I believe it is halifax.
My sister also has enjuring power of attorney unregistered.mum also has demtia.

Not unless you have power of attorney. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable in this area will be along soon.0

If your Mum has dementia (severely enough) then the enduring power of attorney is invalid - it must now be registered.
Maybe involve Social Services? It's the only thing I can think of.0 -

Or perhaps get in touch with the Office of Public Guardian who deal with Power of Attorney - they might be able to advise on how best to proceed
