Take A Break Subscription To Magazines?

I thought this could be a good place to ask this question as the take a break comps are always listed from the different type of magazines.

I want to buy someone for Christmas a Take a break magazine subscription. I have searched & the cheapest site selling them is the actual Take A Break site.

I've never brought a magazine subscription before & would like to know if I can buy the subscription before Christmas as a gift to be sent to the person in January as the first issue out of the 12.

I've searched the website but unless I put in card details I can't see when the first issue would be sent

So is that possible

Take a Break magazine is a weekly, and I don't think you can subscribe on the Bauer site. On third party sites it is ridiculously expensive - often twice the price you will pay in the shops!

If you mean one of the monthly puzzle magazines HERE then you can specify when you want it to start.

There are often codes for further discounts in the magazines, the current one is XINS13 (expires 31/01/14). For example "Take a Puzzle" magazine for 13 issues is £27.30 cover price, £23.21 on the website and only £20.48 using the code. If you have problems on the subscription website, the phone number is 01795 414831.

PS. I never had any problems with deliveries of the magazines, the worst thing was the pestering to renew that started far too early!
