I have just signed up for the nPower fixed rate deal. If David Cameron removes the green ECO charge from utility companies should my bill be reduced??

Nobody knows the answer to that question.
Given that the Government advice has been to switch and fix tariffs, I suspect(hope!) that any government initiative to move some, or all, of the 'green' and 'social' levy to general taxation will be applied to all tariffs.0
