Autoaid - do they cover my car (a 4x4)?

Policy document says:

Vehicles covered are any saloon car, hatchback, estate car, car derived van or motorcycle.

Wondering if anyone knows? My car isn't strickly a 4x4, it's a Santa Fe, 2.7V6 with 4 optional wheel drive, but I don't want to be caught out!

I can call them tomorrow if I need to but I'd like to buy tonight if possible as the policy doesn't come into effect until mid night the next day!

thanks!

The Santa Fe is an SUV / Sports Utility Vehicle, the 4x4 aspect is just that it's a 4 wheel drive car rather than 2 wheel drive
An SUV is just a big estate car
  • Yes it's an SUV which common sense says should come under hatchback, or estate but as they don't mention them specifically i don't want to take anything for granted.

    Anyone know for sure?
