Sugar Soap: which brand, what concentration to remove nicotine?

Hi
I tried using Homebase Concentrated Sugar Soap, liquid, in varying dilutions to remove nicotine from a painted wall, until I was using it neat, but to no avail. It's little better than water.
What brand and concentration works on nicotine?
Thanks.

try this, if it doesn't do the trick , you may have to seal it with a stain blocker0

Best thing we ever used for removing nicotine from painted ceilings and walls is old fashioned washing soda (crystals not the liquid) diluted as per instructions and then using a large paint brush or a foam type floor mop soaked in the stuff and run it over the ceiling/wall and then rinse it off with clean water.
Its also so much cheaper than sugar soap and all the other so called preparatory cleaners on the market and you can usually get it at most supermarkets in the laundry products aisle.
You will be amazed at the results, as my walls looked as though they had been emulsioned.
Just a word of warning though, when using soda crystal solution, watch you don't get it in your eyes (wear safety glasses/goggles) and if you have sensitive skin then use rubber gloves.0
