I'd imagine so... I can either wait for half of the agreement and get rid then, or go to another manufacturer and buy a car with them and have them buy me out of it...

In fact, if I saved up the pennies, could I sell the car and pay off the negative equity and get out of it that way?

I'm beginning to wish I had done it that way, but hey, you live and learn.
  • Yes, of course you can reject a used car, especially if you bought it from a franchised dealer. And any good finance company should help you to reject the car if there really is a problem - it's in their interests to have satisfied customers.

Where do you suggest I start? I'm trying to use the car as little as possible at the moment to stop putting mileage on it.

Do what I said in my first post. Speak to your local Trading Standards Office in the first instance.
