I am going to Warwick on holidays and was considering taking the laptop with me. At the moment Primus provide broadband for me. I was wondering if I would still have broadband in the hotel or if I want net access should I pay the hotels going rate, it is operated by Cloud.
The costs are
30min Time Debit Pass = £2.99
60min Time Debit Pass = £4.50
24hour Time Limit Pass = £9.99
7 days Time Limit Pass = £24.99.

I'm confused, haven't you answered your own question? It comes down to how much you are willing to pay. If it was me, I'd leave the laptop at home, you will probably have a more refreshing holiday without it. There's always internet cafe's if you get desperate for a fix.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

I'm afraid you can only get 'your' broadband if you take your phone cable with you! So the options are pay the hotels fee or if you have wifi on your laptop some cafes provide free WIFI access if you pay for a drink etc but make sure your firewall and security is set up as everyone else can access your computer in these situations! Alternatively you can do as already suggested and find a local internet cafe.0

I know in America they have free wifi in the hotel lobby/reception area and pay wifi in the hotel room - maybe its similar where you are going?0

Check out the local Library in Warwick. Some libraries offer free wi-Fi access. As Warwick is a University City check out with any students you meet. They will definatlely know where the freebies are.0

Perhaps I should have worded it better. Could I still get Primus in the hotel room and what settings would I have to change on computer to do so?0 -

No, your Primus BB is provisioned on your phone line. You will be able to use BB in the library for free though on their PC's. i.e. no need to take yours. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
