Hi
Bought a bag from River Island last month, and the zip has broke.
I have not got the receipt and wondered what my rights were please?
The bag is in very good condition, not a mark on it, apart from the zip.
Thank You

Do you have any proof of purchase?
Card statement perhaps?
Without proof of purchase your rights are somewhat limited.
Simply because there is no indication to River Island that you did buy it from them.

Ive just found the receipt that was in the bottom of my bag and it looks wet so its discoloured but the barcode along the bottom is visible?0

River Island tend to do their own make stuff plus they'll know when that style of bag was in stock so the damaged receipt might not be too much of a problem, i.e. they'll know the bag was from there and they'll also have a good idea of when you bought it. Take it back, show them the broken zip and ask if it can be repaired or the bag replaced."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Thanks everyone. Got the barcode of the bottom and exchanged for a new style - thanks again
. Lesson is to keep the receipt in a safe place ;-)
