I was talked into switching to a British Gas Dual Fuel deal then 3 weeks later they increased their prices. So I switched again to a fixed price EDF deal, giving BG as my current supplier. Given that it takes about 5-7 weeks for a switch to occur, can I do this without any administrative problems? Thanks

Start with the premise that all energy companies are totally incompetent and have great difficulty getting anything right.
If the first switch was completed and you have had the "your account is now with us letter" then no real problems but if the second switch was initiated before completion of the first then you are asking for problems. At least NPower are not involved which slightly reduces the disaster probability factor.
