I am unable to pick up my hotmail at work as they have blocked it incase of viruses' etc. Is there a way round it? I have tried to use MSN mobile and mail2web etc but can't seem to pick it up. I have tried to forward it though to my main account but it dosen't work as when I go into Outlook accounts it says that my user name is wrong ????

I wouldn't try 'going around' any blocks that work have imposed as this may be construed as violating computer policy and could get you into trouble.0

I thought that might be the case. I have however managed to now set up my hotmail through outlook which is fab.
Now all I need to do is set up my @fsmail.net email to go through to outlook too. But it dosen't seem to like it and there is no settings option in FSMail to forward it. Does any one know how I can pick up FS Mail in outlook?TopCashback £1792.63My Little World0 -
Can't you set up hotmail to forward mail to your regular email address?Happy chappy0

Depending on the workplace, I'd still be careful what you do with setting up personal emails, if one virus comes in through your personal email, and gets forwarded on to everyone in your work address book, and brings the network to a halt, it will get traced back to you bypassing the restrictions in place.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

If you use fsmail you might like to got to www/.orange.co.uk log in and you should get to your mail that way. If your comapany have restrictions don't breach them. They can watch you:-)0

They can watch you:-)
Not without informing you that they intend to record/spy all your computer activities, presumably as part of contract when you joined. If they don't it would be illegal for the employer to read private emails etc. Any kind of such surveillance without informing is illegal."She is quite the oddball. You may not know that your being 'spied' upon. It's probably in your companys' acceptable use policy published on your intranet. Ignorance is no excuse etc....0

Definitely worth checking as the Employers MUST make you aware if they intend to perform any "monitoring"."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Most employers have something written into their training manuals about mis-use of the internet so theoretically they have warned you that you are subject to diciplinary action if you disobey their rules. hotmail is banned by a lot of companies. If you don't mind getting caught then go ahead but is it worth the risk?0
