Well went the pub last night and coz we won the pub quiz last time when had a free round of drinks! Bit upset though coz when I woke up in the morning there was £5 missing from my purse and then miracously I found a £5 on my coffee table. Strange coz I didn't go near it when I came home!!

Found a penny today [find a penny pick it up all day long you have good luck!)

Got myself organised and have advertised a few more things on eBay that I have been meaning to do for a while. Ordered a new part for a blender thingy I have so I can advertise that on eBay now. I'm doing the same as you Fairy I have cleared through the whole of downstairs and now I am starting upstairs hard going to keep the motivation and momentum but hope I look back when I am debt free and see that it was all worth it.

Wombled 100 costa points today so that equals £1. Went to Asda and used a 60 pence money off voucher and then found some reduced price snack bars from £1 to 0.30 pence so I stocked up coz my DD has them in her lunch box.:money:

I just posted this in my diary but had to share here.....purely because I think it's amazing AND it has saved me having to buy a more expensive replacement tomorrow! Plus it might give you some hope in Yodel!

Well, wow, er where to start......well, I was pretty incensed over the continuing Yodel saga today. I was so mad, in fact, that I read a few MSE threads that lean towards stringing up Yodel's CEO and organising a public flogging. Within one of these threads was the email address for the head of their customer service team. But it was 2 years old. I figured it probably wouldn't work but was worth a shot. One very tersely worded email which clearly listed all the issues and the manager called back with 'bad news' so she got told I didn't care about the package anymore, to send the bloomin' thing back to sender, and that I had complained to the head of customer services. I then told her to google her company and read what people are saying! Hmph!

About 15 seconds after this exchange, Elaine Boyle (aforementioned head of customer services), emailed me to say she had contacted the regional manager and my package would be with me within the hour!!! Glad I was sitting down! I couldn't believe my eyes! I had to read it 3 times! WOW!!!!

So sitting here waiting on our package and can barely believe that hubby's birthday might actually be saved! Sad to have to go that high just to get your package but major kudos to Ms Boyle for moving the mountain!

Has some vouchers for Mar*s and Spen so popped in today to look at the thermal undies as the snow getting nearer - wore out last year's with that awful winter :rotfl:They didn't have what I wanted in my size in black but the assistant said I could order online. Went on this evening and got 20% off so saved £11. Didn't know the offer was on - must be my lucky day.
