Thanks for the advice Fairyclicks and vjacx, how do you sell on facebook? Never done this before. I have a cash for clothes near my work, I might enquire there too.

Basically you just add photos to a selling group or page along with details of price etc.

some groups are local towns so you can search for those and join or send me a wee message and i can add to mine for you - will PM you the link. xxx

I have another £4 to add from a sale - i really need to get more stuff listed!!! lol! busy clearing and sorting in the selling/craft room - one of these days i will actually have a house not full of junk!!!

    Hi All,

Well done to everyone. November seems to have been a good month for a lot of you so far. You must all be working hard :money:

I am currently at £46.66 which is made up of
    • £15 saved by taking lunches to work - will stop counting this in 2014 as after a year of doing this I will class taking lunch to work as the norm.
    • £10.80 selling scrap metal to scrappies
    • £5 road kill found just outside scrap yard - all neatly folded up :rotfl:
    • £10 from PayPal -By invitation only if I paid for 2 additional items by PayPal in a particular period they would credit my account with £10 so I bought 2 items I needed for a total cost of £4.04 and made almost £6 profit. Wish they did this every month:rotfl:
    • £3 for opening a Metro Bank Account - they give you this so you don't have an empty bank account!!!
    • £2.55 loose change cashed in at Metro Bank as they don't charge for using their machine and you get a prize if you guess within £1 of the total amount
    • 31p savings on yellow sticker rolls.
I'm a little under target at the moment but am just about to send of 3 mobile phones which will hopefully net me in excess of £100. I also have lots of clothes for Cash4Clothes. Thinking about including most of the fiction books that do not seem to sell on any websites. They only pay 5p per Kilo but it's 5p per Kilo more than I have at the moment and will be at least 5 large boxes out of the house. I think they only buy books if they collect as i can't seem to find a shop that accepts them.

    Happy earning everyone

    Chez x

Whoop, excellent day today, after a bit of wrangling on the phone got hotel room refunded - £122.00, and chiropractors will refund £285 to my card when I go in (tomorrow). Sold my ?fake shoes? to the buyer who messaged me for £40 - with the caveat that she'll return them if she doesn't like them :-/ but I think it's the best I can get! Preloved won't let me list them and gumtree removed them today as well! Stuff selling well on eBay, all finishes this weekend but I have a ton more to list... Just wondering now where the best/cheapest place for packaging is, I have lots to send!
