    No worries.
As long as everyone has the info about the deal they can choose.

I'm not used to on-line sites taking credit card information for things that are out of stock - most sites don't.

If anyone's in the Bath area, then there's loads for £3 in all colours in the Guildhall market every day.

As your other post stated, and mine indicated, they will take the postage money out of your account only when the product is posted.

I agree, but that's not what most other internet sites do, so not what many of us would expect that.
Most other sites would either cancel your order or let you know if they aren't going to have the goods for quite some considerable unknown amount of time (more than 1 month).

Look I have no axe to grind whether people buy or not. I'm just giving the information and people can choose to buy if they want.

You seem keen to promote an item which is easily obtainable for most people in most local towns, but in this case delivery dates are uncertain and unknown.
If you want to buy it fair enough, but I think you should tell us whether you have a vested interst or any connection with this company because your promotion of it is rather illogical.

I have no connection and my only interest is people having the correct information so they can chose for themselves.

Oh for God's sake. How very nasty you have turned out to be.

No, I have no vested interest. I was bothering to post here as I felt it would be - just like you - of interest to people. In fact, when I got my order last time, I would have been grateful to someone posting their experiences as I got rather worried about the whole thing.

You appear to live in or near Bath, a city with many good shops. I live just outside a town of about 29,000 people, and our market is just not full of scarves as you would have it. It's also only available on two days a week, and, as I said, I wasn't interested in just going into town specially to look for a £3 scarf.

I also said that the scarf was OK, I didn't promote it in any way, just said that the one I received wasn't frayed, and that it was a good length. I did say the cotton was a rough texture.

I think you should apologise to me, lisyloo, for your comments. I am appalled that you should think that I have a vested interest in promoting the site in some backhanded and sneaky fashion - I didn't post the original post about them. I am honest and direct enough that if I did have a connection to them, I would have mentioned that. You have accused me of dishonesty, and I am considering getting your post deleted for abuse.

Grief! Your comment is unfounded and unjust. Very nasty, Lisyloo. My opinion of you has just dropped mightily.

My mum ordered one of these and was advised by Sainsbury's that the one she ordered was out of stock and instead they sent her a different one. When I saw it, I thought it was lovely quality and certainly not cheap and tatty.

Hi has anyone received their orders yet.

Just looked on site and says on picking line but it has been on the picking line since 29/10/13.

Not at all. - seems to me you are the one who's gone nasty (and ranting and raving too).
I'm just helping by providing my personal experience to others who may wish to consider the various issues of timeliness, budgetting and quality before purchasing. If they don't agree or it doesn't apply to them that's fine it's a free country.

I don't see anything wrong with verifying whether you have vested interest. We don't know who anyone is one here and you're extremely naive if you think we should take the advice of unknown strangers on trust.

I never suggested anyone took a special trip especially to buy a cheap scarf. However they are available in most markets/shopping centres and even supermarkets when people are out anyway doing their shopping - they're hardly a scarce commodity.

BTW - if you want someone's words removed, then it's probably not a good idea to quote what they said :-)
