Letter from Father Christmas!

Options
Hi,

I'm looking for a good quality service to get letters from Christmas for my two kids (4&5).

Last year we tried the Royal Mail service but that never showed up, despite sending the letter off mid November.

I've seen a few, like - Lapland mailroom, NSPCC and Santa.co.uk but I'm not sure which is best, or one I haven't seen yet.

Any suggestions???

Thanks.

I've ordered the NSPCC one this year.

Not that I disagree with the cause.

Do you not worry that being a charity they will scrimp on the quality to gain a larger profit?
  • I love writing them myself, chatting about every day life at the North Pole and making it really personal to the child. You could print them and post them to the kids or tea stain them, roll into a scroll and add ribbon. An elf could of dropped them off when the kids were asleep or they appeared by the fireplace

No, the full text of the letter is online, and I was very happy with it. Can't see the NSPCC scrimping on quality of the print. I certainly paid the suggested £5 donation and I am sure a lot of grandparents etc would and would therefore expect a good quality item.

I mean in the thickness of the paper. This one comes on thick paper (although that's what they say) and with a 'nice list' certificate.

Did you go for NSPCC because it's a charity?

I used this company this year. Obviously haven't got the letter yet so can't comment on what's it's like. But they do put a lot of information about the child in the letter.

I went for the NSPCC because I had phoned them about something earlier this year and was impressed by how they handled it.

I make my own letters usually, it's free means you can put whatever you want on it, you're not restricted to what you want to include and you know you're definitely getting it! but this year I ordered mine from a Groupon deal. Only reason was that I don't have a printer this year lol.

I personally don't buy the NSPCC ones. I along with a few other people contacted them a few years ago about an issue and was basically told that they wouldn't get involved, nor did they offer any advice. They really were not interested. So since then I have refused to support anything they do, as have a few others. I'm sure their letters are lovely though :)

Also when it comes to Charities I'm always wary of them as not all money that is donated goes direct to the cause, the majority of it goes to admin etc. I only support charities that I know ALL the money goes to that cause.

No charity could exist with 100% going to the cause.
