    Definitely looking into volunteering over the festive period, as much as I'd love to go on holiday, I can't bring myself to go alone!

    I think there are probably some holidays for people that are alone to travel as a group ie not dating things but simply people who want to make the most of time off.

    :heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • I dont know if they have them where you are but I've noticed a few of the cafes and restuarants I go in are having a party day on xmas day. A single friend of mine goes to them and he says they are always very welcoming and its a fun day out.

    Failing that you can go round my mum and dads and have a burnt xmas dinner and sit round eating chocolates and watching columbo all afternoon instead of me ;)

    There's a lunch in our church hall on Christmas day for those who find themselves alone. Churches in your area may offer something similar
