I'm a bit mental with my kids stuff. All of their school bits go in a scrap book, as soon as we get it and i put dates on the page, and translate where necessary. Its great looking back at their progress.

I also do the same with holidays and days out. I have memory scrapbooks with a leaflet or tickets etc of our days out or holidays. We were looking at them in the half term, especially good when they say 'we never go anywhere':rotfl:

Its rubbing off on ds2. He gets a stone? From wherever we go, and he writes on it where it is from and the date.

I use to be a little bit obsessive about keeping the children's stuff, I kept every single card they have ever been given, every newspaper article, well basically everything..but it came to the point where I had to scale it down as we have four children my loft was overflowing and I don't think the children would want it all so we did scale it all down :)

Thank you PD and Locarr for the lamb suggestions

9 items plus the c and c charge zippy but I wouldn't plan to do it that way again if I was relying on a PP

Received my despatch email from BS. bubbstastic:rotfl::T

Same here we scaled down all the nursery paintings and school work couple years ago. Think I had nearly everything they had ever put down on paper. :o Had a good laugh at some of the things I had kept. But they just kept what they wanted and I now have a separate box for the bits that I treasure most. :)

It really made me think about all the cards etc I had been keeping in the loft when I found all my mum's earlier in the year. As time goes by some just don't have the same meaning as they did have at one time. Anything I didn't feel any emotional attachment to anymore went. Was quite embarrasing how big the pile was to get rid of when I had finished.
