I'm surprised - and a bit unhappy - to know that Asda accept fridge stuff back for a refund, put it in their fridge and presumably put it back on sale ! They have no control over how it has been stored and, personally, I'd hate to think I was buying chilled stuff that other customers had returned. Surely there is a potential health hazzard here ?
I would hope they don't. My Ts (a nice SA, not the nasty trouty CS woman in there) once told me if anything had been out of the freezers (not fridge?) for more than 20 minutes, they had to destroy it. Seeing that I have a 2hr-guideline, till stuff has to reach the fridge from my taking it off the supermarket shelf, obviously less than that in extreme warm weather, nothing I took home should ever go back into the store for sale! I would never return it anyway, at that stage.
Different matter - but again about potential 'non-compliance with rules' - my CS desk today - not even SA at till or SS - but CS - did not sign off my receipt after I'd redeemed the APG! I don't reuse anything anyway. You're lucky this 'stickler for rules', namely myself, isn't a member of store staff - I'd be offsetting APGs against refunds, marking receipts as void for APG if an item had been returned that meant you had no longer bought 8 items, indeed marking all receipts on which any return had been made as APG-void.:rotfl::rotfl: As I did say yesterday, that's the theory but in practice the strict T&Cs don't apply. The CS today gives us all more hope over that I suspect!:rotfl:0 -
Not sure if this is of any use to people, but it appears that there is energy saving thingymebobs for people who fit a specific criteria

I like it when they buy that on wombles! Always gives me a bit of a chuckle when I see it appearing in womble results on the APG site, and usually gives some hope of an APG resulting from the shop, or at least increases the chance:D:T.0 -

I think I might enquire at my local as to what there policy is & where the food goes.
Please do! And do report back on here the answer.
Oops...nearly forgetting my own receipt: quite a good APG - better than what I thought:

Didn't plan on doing this shop today, just got one small banana! Mbuys showing on comp. are in bold. Risking those disposable razors to be an N/A (was going to get them in Sains. vs A but would have bought more than I needed there - only need the few cheaper items in A - others, more exp. in T, bought separately! Such as the Mazola Pure Corn Oil 1L - £1 each - BB Sept 2014:T:T, usual r'back price is £1.50.)
I like a good shocker - potential great risk - on my shopping! The razors just like gave me a bit of the tension needed!:rotfl::rotfl::D:cool:
Please do *not* copy this style!
Not too worried about the £1.15 New Pots again failing to compare to M, even though M stock theirs at £1.00. ...And I did need the Broccoli, Cauli, Carrots myself even though I'd posted about it earlier today and wasn't looking at getting it till later!
I think I've got the hang of this APG thing now!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
