My dog had an epileptic fit this morning and he's being rather sooky at the moment. He's perfectly fine but they're a tiny bit scary when he has them.

Weddings can be as stressful as they are joyous and the repercussions can last.
My penny's worth, be the bigger person and carry on regardless. What's happened has happened. You can't change the past. If you cancel the party, it will only add to the bad feeling. Just make Dil feel as welcome as you possibly can.
Seconded (or thirded, or whatever) weddings are a minefield, dil's.probably had a few other comments about photos you aren't aware of and may be all tired and emotional about that, give her a hug, or a virtual one, and remind her how wonderful her special day was to you. I've never returned fridge or frozen goods except for ones that were of poor quality
You might encounter resistance....although my store still has a written returns policy that says it's ok but that staff have to waste any such returns
I thought as much (sounds same as Ts policy) I don't want them wasting stock because of my mistake. I'll take the hit then.

I am going into my garden to make sure everything is tied down and put away.I hope it won't be as bad as 1987.It was a nightmare down here in Sussex then.Trees all over my road and half the houses with roofs missing.I remember it well because I was going to go to my sil funeral but couldn't get there. The wind is already blowing quite hard.
May be a good day for wombling.
I hope the storm is over on here.It would be a shame to find glitches and not to share them.
Good afternoon everyone....
Still on a catch up of today's posts......
I moved into the house I am in about 7 years ago.... We mahoosive trees on my street which in the summer can tend to block out the light quite a bit..... about 2 years ago I found out that a tree came down onto a roof in the '87 storms very close to me! I think the trees should be ok this time as most of the leaves off already, but still quite worrying. Lets all batton down and take care, just in case.... Its always better to be safe than sorry.0
