  • Afternoon all. Blowing a gale here , no rain yet trying to dry/ keep washing on line ! The Heinz beans are also comparing against Morri £4 tesco £2.80 Morri. Handy to go with baileys comparing in tescos.
Savvy do you think baileys will compare tomorrow please in tescos or do you think tescos will update quickly. Though it might be worth a pun with a £5 helping hands voucher.
    Thank you

Yes it does - Avs T on certain ones? (Are flash packs only avail. in T though?)

I bought a flashed pack in A on Friday on an A v T shop. With your refund cheque you also receive a 75p off your next purchase moc and they also give you 50p for postage, although there was no mention of this on the pack. You therefore end up with 2 multi packs of crisps very cheap.
  • Thanks

    Just tried this on T.com

    3 x Creamy Mash
3 x Roast potatoes with goose fat
    3 x Garnacha
    2 x Lasagne
1 x Chicken and Ham pies
    + fillers

    = £25 and get a £9.97pp back :T

    Edit: Minus 15% on the wine*, so £25- £3.60 = £21.40

    *Doesn't show online

You won`t get £9.97 pp cos asda roasties are comparing to tescos at £2.25.

pp sees tescos at 3 for £5 and asda at 3 for £6.75 so pp will be £8.22

Some of the Country Store and Creamfields (which are T's 'value' brands) products are, it appears, being compared to from A's CBY brands - explaining the 300ml Cream comp.

These two products (frozen veg. packs):

    In T:
Country Store Cauliflower Carrot & Broccoli Mix (1Kg)

    In A:
ASDA Chosen by You Broccoli, Cauliflower & Baby Carrots Mix (1Kg)

Last known comps. on T PP and APG are:

    T PP
    1 x COUNTRY STORE CAULIFLOWER CARROTS & BROCCOLI 1Kg
    £0.99 N/A N/A N/A

    APG
    Asda Tesco
ASDA Chosen by You Broccoli, Cauliflower & Baby Carrots Mix (1Kg)£1.40 £0.99

(I agree with T on the above rather than with msm, but hey ho...:j:eek:)
    HTH.

(Beware on the milk, Creamfields 4pt milk compares on T PP vs A only - so, if A's price were to increase on its standard 4pt milk of same skimness (or otherwise), then it may reduce the PP amount if doing a vs A comp. I disagree with T here, but to no avail!!:rotfl:)

For those who like the T Finest Meal Deal, reminder of last night's find, as it may have got lost at the end of the old thread. Thanks annieme.

Nothing glitching any more to not trigger the meal deal (it seems) but best deal is to get 3 Garnacha as part of the offer and the 15% off 3 bottles will trigger on the full price of the wine (£7.99) taking £3.60 off your £30 spend. (Pinot Grigio sadly no longer in the offer)

The PP sees the wine at full price too. So this gives you a PP of £8.97, meaning £30 - £12.57 = £17.43 or £5.81 per meal deal! Not bad when it includes a bottle of wine :T Also, no need for fillers if you buy 3 different mains, 3 different sides and 3 different starters = 10 items.

One question though, does this count as £30 towards the £40 spend or would it only be £26.40?

Last day for the £5 off wys £40 today.

Thanks thats lunch sorted for OH, dd and fiance and some for the freezer and 3 wine for Xmas. Thanks again

Sorry Savvy, I should have said, I was in As at the time so definitely available in my store at least :)
  • Can't find ANY A anywhere near me that do Snakes. Even the Wolverhampton one doesn't.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

You've all tempted me - I'm off!! No Morries updating for now (:( I hear you go!)

So is the advice buy 6 Avs T?

Together with the GW crisps? (Those alone, as got enough crisps in the house, were being resisted, but with the beans now...).

A.com says Any 2 for question mark question mark £3 on the site:rotfl::rotfl:- msm (currently) has straight £2.50 each:money::money:. (If APG 'works'..)

    The crisps -

    - No need for the apology - but apology accepted anyway - I didn't think it needed necessarily to be mentioned in the OP!
