Tiger I sometimes use this basic tomato sauce recipe- works just as well with tinned tomatoes and so much less faff. I can also heartily recommend the meatball stew. Serve with crusty bread et voila!

I'm very much on the :o:o:o:o:o side :D especially when you know you've got something particular in the garage but despite 20 minutes moving <ahem> a few bags you still can't find it :whistle:

OH uses a couple of cans in a Chicken & Bacon Merengo? in the S/Cooker

2 tins toms, 500g of chicken breasts browned with some smoked bacon chunks/slices/cubes, crushed garlic/onions/mushrooms also softened, chuck everything in slowcooker for the afternoon (Also add whatever herbs, salt pepper etc) and half an hour before ready thicken with a little flour/water mix and its yummy. We have it with Basmati rice but it will go with almost anything.

I generally just Add chopped onions, garlic, maybe mushrooms if you like them and either mixed herbs, basil or oregano.
You can freeze in batches too and it will do for pasta, pizza topping, lasagne or spaghetti Bol bases. Much nicer and cheaper than jars :)

Ooh thanks. Will try in the week or maybe Monday :T

About to check beckham homme gift set.. Drum roll please ......

Thank you Aau1 for the Greek Gods coupon, I just printed a couple.

A tip...make sure you print in landscape and set the pages so you only print page one, otherwise you end up printing out a load of non-coupon ink-wasting drivel.

    Happy Friday All,
When to a Tesco Finest taster evening yesterday, really enjoyed it. Goodie bag contained the cheese, pasta, mushrooms and chocolate! Thanks to all who gave me the 'heads up' on this, was really suprised to find that our Tesco was holding one!!

Can anyone report if the Cokezone voucher is being taken a Tesco, I am a little nervous about trying to use it! I have a H/H £5 off £40 to use, cobined with a couple of coke vouchers, alpro and the great vouchers mentioned yesterday for Cosmo and Red mags (2.60 and 3.00 vouchers - so you get the mags for £1.00 each - each mag comes with freebies!!)
